Committee to Protect Medicare

The Committee to Protect Medicare (CTP) is a national advocacy organization organizing in the states that matter most for healthcare—working to educate elected officials and elect leaders who share their values. CTP (later changed their name to the Committee to Protect Healthcare) organizes doctors, healthcare professionals, and advocates who are building a pro-patient healthcare majority in Congress so that we can live in an America where everyone has the healthcare they need to thrive.

In the lead up to the 2020 election, CTP focused on amassing donors and communicating with voters in states hard-hit by the coronavirus, and ultimately helped put President Joe Biden over the top in places like Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania. I designed what seemed like everything under the sun for those efforts—including digital ads, emails, rally signs, stickers, billboards, and even a few websites! Check out a selection of the mass amalgamation of work below.

Rally Signs

Rally signs (above) created for press events leading up to the 2019 democratic presidential debates in Detroit. The Committee to Protect Medicare and Affordable Care threw their first official press conference ahead of the Democratic Debates in Detroit in July 2019. Several doctors spoke about the importance of healthcare taking center stage in 2020, and imploring our current Presidential candidates to talk about it during the debates.

WEB DESIGN

After becoming a more well known and established organization over the years, the Committee to Protect wanted an updated website for their C4 side. I helped pare down and source imagery and content while creating a more clean, modern look for their site including all the necessary information and pages, but none of the stuff they didn’t need. Add “coming up with the occasional pithy line of copy” to the skills area on my resume. ✨ Check out a detailed view of the different pages of the website below.
